Before & After Care Programming

Beforecare Program

Beforecare is an early morning care option available for currently enrolled Sunshine students to arrive before the 8:30 School Day starts. Children ease into their day in a smaller setting with work and activities within their classrooms including helping their teachers prepare the Montessori environment for the day.

Aftercare Program

The Aftercare program extends a child's day beyond the 3:30 School Day. The Aftercare program incorporates developmentally appropriate activities (both Montessori based and not) in a classroom environment. Special projects, including cooking, creative art, and science are planned by Aftercare teachers throughout the year. Children also enjoy a snack and large motor activities each day. Summer hours vary and are slightly shorter.
